GIRLS BASKETBALL DEFEATS CARDINALS PUISIS SCORES RECORD 40 POINTS!

This past Saturday, the Mason girls basketball team overwhelmed Colerain 82-26. The Comet offense sizzled shooting 56% from the field.

Mason senior standout Sammie Puisis set a couple new program scoring records in the process. Puisis connected on her 190th 3-point field goal, an all-time Mason record. She also scored a career-high 40 points (16-23 from the field), most ever scored in a single game for a Mason girls basketball player.

Megan Wagner notched 15 in the game and dished out 6 assists while collecting 5 steals. Marilyn Popplewell grabbed 11 rebounds.

The Comets (11-4, 8-2) head down the home stretch with two more weeks of the regular season remaining. Next up, the team visits Hamilton TONIGHT to make up an earlier season cancellation.
