BOYS SWIMMING/DIVING

It was senior night for our 27 seniors Friday vs. Lakota East & West. Both Mason squads came out on top!. The boy’s scores were: Mason 137, East 107, West 61

The boy’s team showed tremendous depth in the win and was led by double winner, senior Lonnie Chien. Lonnie won the 100 Butterfly & the 100 Breaststroke. Other individual winners were:

Adam Chaney – 200 IM

Karson Walker – 100 Freestyle

Braden Osborn – 500 Freestyle

Matthew Wagner –  diving

Seniors Karson Walker & Cole Petersen were named “Swimmers of the Meet”.—————————-

The swimming Comets took on GCL & GGCL teams on Saturday. Both teams came out on top!

Boys scores – Mason 71, Moeller 55, LaSalle 44

Boys Results:

Mason only won 4 events but showed tremendous depth in defeating both Moeller & LaSalle. The following were individual winners:

Cole Petersen – 200 Freestyle

Diego Fortson – 500 Freestyle

Sean Huggins – 100 Backstroke

Outstanding swimmers of the meet were:

Ruchi Kudalkar, Advika Sumit, Ashley Schoenlein, Sean Huggins, & Sahan Kansakar

Admission: Adults      $6.00    Students (K-12)     $3.00

Mason Boys will be seeking their third straight league title and 7th overall.

GIRLS SWIMMING/DIVING

The girl’s team showed tremendous depth in the win and was led by double winner, senior Leanna Wall winning the 50 & 100 Freestyle. Other individual winners were:

Aubrey Whitaker – 500 Freestyle

Tiana Anchrum – 100 Breaststroke

Karina Ashton – diving

Leanna Wall was named ‘Swimmer of the Meet” for the girls.

Mason won 10 out of the 11 events. The team was led by double winner Emily Yu. Emily won the 100 Freestyle & 100 Backstroke. Other individual winners were: 

Sydney Richards – 200 Freestyle

Ashley Schoenlein – 200 IM

Ruchi Kudalkar – 50 Freestyle

Grace Zhang – 100 Butterfly

Advika Sumit – 100 Breaststroke
