SANIYA ERZHANOVA

The Senour-Flaherty Insurance Company proudly recognizes SANIYA ERZHANOVA, a standout FRESHMAN on the Mason Girls Wrestling team, as the Mason Winter Athlete of the Week for her exceptional accomplishments, dedication, and leadership on and off the mat.

Saniya recently showcased her talent and determination by capturing a sectional championship and securing a fourth-place finish overall in the 235 lb. class at Districts, earning her a coveted spot at the State Championships. Her relentless work ethic has set her apart, as she committed to rigorous training throughout the summer and fall, continuously refining her skills and pushing herself to new heights during the season. With an impressive 14-4 record, Saniya also won the prestigious Girl's Power 10 tournament.

Beyond her impressive performances, Saniya has emerged as a leader within the program, demonstrating maturity, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to fostering a positive and hardworking team culture. Despite being a freshman, she has already made a lasting impact, inspiring her teammates with her perseverance and drive.
