Mason High School is proud to announce that junior pitcher Anna Polca has been named the Senour Flaherty Mason Spring Athlete of the Week for her standout performance with the Mason Varsity Softball Team.

Polca opened the Comets' league season spectacularly, delivering back-to-back complete-game shutouts on the mound. Highlighting her dominant start was a no-hitter, during which she struck out eight batters and issued just one walk. Her poise, precision, and power set the tone for Mason’s league campaign and demonstrated why she’s a force to be reckoned with this season.

As a junior leader on the team, Polca’s early season efforts have helped fuel the Comets’ momentum and inspire her teammates. Her achievement is a testament to her dedication, talent, and competitive spirit.
