24-25 MEN'S WRESTLING TEAM

The Mason High School Men's Wrestling team has been recognized as the El Caporal Team of the Week for their outstanding performance and continued dedication to excellence. The Comets have been battling on the mats with determination, striving to improve their skills as the 2024-25 season moves forward.

Already, they’ve competed in prestigious invitationals, including the Firebird and Liberty Classics, and most recently at the annual Southwest District Coaches Meet. On January 11th, the team dominated Oak Hills in a dual meet, securing a commanding 46-21 victory. They also hosted their annual Mason Invite this past weekend, which showcased top talent from the region.

As the season progresses, the Comets have their eyes set on defending their 2024 GMC Championship title, and with the hard work and commitment shown by every wrestler, the future is looking bright for this talented team.

The Mason Men's Wrestling team is led by head coach Nicholas Maffey, whose leadership continues to inspire and push the team to new heights.
