Atrium Weight Room and Fitness Center- Facility
Mason High School received a brand new 10,000 square foot weight room at the start of the 2009 school year. It was donated by Atrium Medical Center.Highlighted by 9 bench/squat multi-racks, it also includes dumbbell pairs ranging from 5 - 90 pounds, multiple treadmills/ellipticals machines, a full arm circuit of machines, olympic bars, and a 40 yard dash practice track.

Mason Powerplant Weight Room
Mason High School also has a 3,000 square foot weight room. It had been the main weight room since the new high school was built in 2001.

Strength and Conditioning Mission Statement
The primary goal of the Mason High School Strength and Conditioning Program is to produce highly skilled athletes through designing and administering structured programs, which improve the athlete’s performance and reduce the risk and occurrence of athletic injuries.
Mason High School’s student-athletes benefits from a strength and conditioning program that is developed to ensure peak athletic performance. Each program is designed to aid the student-athlete both in and out of season.

Programs are developed to affect the factors that affect each student-athlete’s sports performance. Factors such as body composition, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance and cardiovascular endurance are all taken into consideration when designing programs.
The strength and conditioning program of each team is planned and monitored through post-season, off-season, pre-season, and in-season to ensure that each athlete progresses to meet the demands of their sport. Each program is designed for sport specific training to achieve peak physical performance.
The Mason High School Strength and Conditioning Program challenges our athletes in the aspects of Leadership, Attendance, Attitude, Work Ethic, and Intensity. Each athlete is expected to adhere to the principles that are the basis of our program.
Weight Room Hours and Visitations
2:30 - 6:30 P.M. on weekdays - open to Mason Athletics
8:00 - 12:00 A.M. on weekends - open to Mason Athletics
Weight Room is restricted to Mason Athletes only
