Sara and Erika are seniors on the Mason Girls Lacrosse Team
HS girls lacrosse teams at times, struggle to find one person who is willing to jump in the cage and take shots one after another. Although, occasionally teams find one dynamic young woman who can last the entire season and bring an air of confidence and authority to the defensive crew. But it is such a rarity being blessed with two equally talented young women guarding the net. Seniors, Erika Eller and Sara Grove share a unique relationship; splitting time in the goal circle for MHS Girls Lacrosse. These two have a combined save percentage of .640, both are ranked in the top 5 goalkeepers in the state of Ohio, and have anchored the Comets defense, holding the opponents to 30 goals in 5 undefeated games.
Work ethic, field awareness and a passion for the game drive these two young ladies. Uniquely different in personality but unified in dedication to their team-mates and a desire for excellence. Sara the ice hockey player and Erika the teams “game wrap” writer grind it out every day. With super attitudes and fun loving character, these two are going to help Mason HS GLax go a long, long way this season!
