Trey is a senior on the 2020-21 Mason Boys Basketball Team. Trey is having a strong start to the 2020-21 season for the Mason Comets. As a guard, his offensive and defensive skills have helped lead Mason boys to a 4-1 start. Trey is leading the team in points per game, averaging 23.5 per game. In addition, he leads the GMC in points per game and amazingly in rebounds at 7.3 per game.
ZACH BELEGRIN
Zach is a senior on the 2020-21 Mason Boys Bowling TeamZach has stepped up as a leader in the early part of the season. He leads by example, hard work, and consistency. He is leading the team in several categories this year but he also leads by effort. Mason has the opportunity to be great this year and Zach will play a vital role in that success.
AMY BERGSET
Amy is a senior on the 2020-21 Mason Girls Bowling TeamAmy had a really good day against East in a recent conference match and first win of the season. Amy works hard, is a three-year varsity member, and is constantly working hard to improve. Her 316 two-game total led the way to the victory over Lakota East.

This week’s El Caporal Mason Team of the Week is the Mason Varsity Girl’s Basketball Team The Mason Comets are off to a strong start this winter. The girls have played three games so far, winning them all with impressive fashion. The team has defeated Wilmington, Oak Hills, and cross-town rival Lakota West. This year’s squad is talented and experienced which should provide for a very exciting season. The 2020-21 Mason campaign ahead will certainly be a challenge as the team battles the pandemic and their always tough GMC and non-conference schedule. Mason is coached by Rob Matula
