Mason Athletes Pursue Collegiate Dreams

The Mason Athletic Department recognized nineteen standout student-athletes on Wednesday, February 1st, that have made formal commitments to continue their careers on the collegiate stage.  The spectrum of signees represented basketball, swimming, golf, volleyball, soccer, lacrosse, football, track and field and cross country.  Several hundred guests that included family, friends, students, teachers, coaches and administrators were on hand to celebrate the special day with the Mason honorees.  

Mason coaches of each signee gave a brief presentation of the athlete's accomplishments before a ceremonial signing took place.  Some the country's most prestigious academic institutions and collegiate athletic programs granted thousands of dollars in financial aid to the the Mason 2012 Winter Signing Class.
