On Tuesday, May 27th the Mason High School Athletic Department will honor the 2007-2008 spring season athletic teams at their annual Spring Sports Awards Night. The event will begin at 6:30pm in the Mason High School Auditorium.
Finishing with their best finish in school history, the Boys Varsity Green Tennis team captured third place at last week. The Coaches Classic is the largest tournament in the country and the Comets were in the top flight of the tournament and were the only school that in the tournament that had all five teams still playing on Saturday.
Head Coach Linda Kirtley’s Varsity Green Tennis team slipped by Lakota West Tuesday afternoon as the defeated the Firebirds 3-2 on their way to remaining perfect in GMC play.
