Mason boys head soccer coach, Paul Reedy, achieved career win number 300 on Thursday night, against a familiar foe and former team, the Colerain Cardinals.

Girls Volleyball Wins a Pair of Matches

The #2 in the City Varsity Volleyball team extended their winning streak to 25 sets in a row as the Comets put away Kettering Fairmont 25-5, 25-9, 25-8 on Monday night.

Mark Sullivan Named Coach of the Year

Mason head swimming and diving coach, Mark Sullivan, has been named the Ohio High School Swim Coaches Association, Coach of the Year for 2016 (Neil Skinner Award).  The OHSSCA recognizes coaching achievements that include longevity, service, ethics and integrity. These awards are awarded to and voted on by members of the association.  

Mason vs. Colerain

The Comets will visit #1 ranked Colerain (5-0) this coming Friday night for a meeting between GMC unbeatens. The Cardinals trashed Sycamore last Thursday, 52-7.

Comets Roll Over Big Blue

The Mason Comets defeated Hamilton last Friday 34-14 to send their overall record to 4-1 and 2-0 in the GMC. HHS turned the ball over on its first two possessions and visiting Mason scored on its first three drives. Matt Sora ran for 126 yards and two touchdowns in the contest. Mason outgained HHS 436-327 in yardage, with 267 coming on the ground.

Cross Country Takes on Culver

The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams will be traveling to Culver Academy this Saturday, September 24th. This annual event will provide a strong test for the Comets CC teams.

Mason vs. Hamilton

Mason goes on the road this Friday when they visit an improved Hamilton squad. Big Blue is 3-1 on the season and fell last Friday 41-20 to Sycamore.
