Next for both Comets boys and girls swimming is a tri-meet with Turpin and Anderson this Friday, Dec. 11th. The Comets will host another tri-meet on Saturday with Lebanon and Loveland.

TONI BIZZARRO NAMED ALL AMERICAN!

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America has announced the 2015 NSCAA Fall High School All-America Teams.  Mason girls soccer standout, Toni Bizzarro, received official notification on Tuesday that she had earned this prestigious honor.  

Bizzarro was a 4-year, starting keeper for the Comets.  Toni was named the GMC Girls Soccer Player of the Year in 2015. Bizzarro was named a 1st Team All-GMC honoree in 2013, 2014 and 2015.  She has committed to Xavier University.

MASON BEATS SYCAMORE 58-42

The Mason boys basketball team defeated Sycamore on Tuesday night by a score of 58-42. The Comets (3-1, 3-0 GMC), ranked No. 4 in The Enquirer Division I area coaches’ poll, have won three consecutive games since losing its season opener. Mason started quickly.

Come out and watch our Mason Comet Wrestlers take on St. X on 12/10/15 in the Mason HS gym with Varsity starting at 7pm. Freshmen/JV will start wrestling at 5:15pm.

Comet Bowler Rolls Masons First 300 Game

Mason senior boys bowling standout, Bradon Sauer bowled a perfect game on Monday to help his team to a 2807-2241 win over St. Xavier.  Sauer's 300 game was the first in the GMC this year.  It was the first time a Mason bowler rolled a 300 game in a match.  

Other significant scores were Evan Haas 234 series (twice) and Sean Merritt bowled a one game series of 228.

 

Next up the Comets are at Elder on Wednesday, December 2nd.
